Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled General Surgeon to join a dynamic surgical team in Dothan, Alabama. This role offers a balanced work-life schedule, advanced surgical technologies, and a collaborative environment to enhance your professional growth and patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive general surgical care across various procedures such as hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, colon resections, and more.
Evaluate and treat patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Perform minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries and utilize robotic technology when indicated.
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care physicians and specialists.
Participate in a 1:4 call schedule, ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality outcomes.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of a General Surgery residency program.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Alabama.
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
New graduates and experienced surgeons are encouraged to apply.
