Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing (RN) to oversee the Emergency Services department located in Florence, AL. Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Services department.
Develop and implement innovative programs to improve patient outcomes and ensure cost-effective care.
Collaborate with medical staff and leadership to enhance clinical performance and patient experience.
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and advance quality improvement initiatives.
Lead recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts for providers and staff.
Oversee staff education, competency, and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Current or eligible for Alabama RN licensure.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services.
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships.
Experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation in an acute care setting.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and performance-improvement initiatives.
BLS and ACLS certification required (or obtainable within a defined timeframe).
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary range: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00
